    bagless vacum cleaner

    hello, looking for a new vacum cleaner, want to upgrade to a bagless one but don't really want to spend upwards of £100 for a dyson. I don't really know a good hoover when i see one so any help would be much appreciated. My preferance is for the non-upright ones but i will appreciate any responses tbh. Cheers, lz:thumbsup:

    any other suggestions?

    Don't bother with a bagless vacuum cleaner. You will only need to keep buying filters and when you empty them you get covered in dust. A bagged cleaner will lose some suction but not as much as you would think.

    thanks for the advice beasley, but buying bags is cumbersome and i've worked out more expensive than replacing filters, nonetheless i appreciate your help, i'm still looking for some more suggestions

    I bought a performair morphy richards from asda for £40. That was the yeovil store about 2 months ago. Its been fantastic. 2 things are great about it. Firstly its huge capacity compared to most vacuums but the main thing is it has this agitator dial that means you can partially clean the filter in situ. So instead of having to remove the filter to clean you just turn this yellow dial and it agitates it to drop any collected dust into the main chamber. You can keep doing this until the main chamber is full and then clean the filter when you empty the container. It just saves a massive amount of time and the vacuum can be used for much longer than other vacuums. A brilliant feature.

    This is the model but its over twice the price at argos;
