    Bags From Clothes Collection Companies

Anyone else get one every single day ?

They should get these sods to deliver the post. To me they are con merchants, they try to make it look as if they are part of a charity when in fact they keep the vast majority of the profits. To be fair these things arent quite as misleading since the government clamped down but youd have to look pretty hard to notice that they are in fact just some company that makes a minimal donation

we get about 4 a week thro the door, very kind of them to help me out with bin liners during the current economic climate

good for bin bags, all appear to be illegal immigrants delivering them near me....one guy was arrested whilst doing it for that reason a month or so back

They must make a fair old wedge for them to be out every single day doing it, these bags often have different affiliations on them (dogs with hemorrhoids, orpahans with alopecia, that sort of thing) but I suspect they are all from the same company

I personally take all my unwanted clothing to the charity shops, no way would i leave them out for these people.

i remember putting a bag out once with old clothes and later when i came home my neighbour was telling me that when they put the bag in the back of the van they opened it and had a good look so i stopped putting it out and just either sell it or take it to the council recycle bank

Ive got about 10 tshirts and 4 pairs of pants, I could do with them leaving me a bag full

We find them quite handy as our bin gets full quickly so we bundle our rubbish in old decorating clothes or other things that arent usable to charity and let them take our rubbish for us.

I use mine for dog poo then leave that for them

We go through stages of having nothing then like this week we had 4 through the door!

I only put out the british heart foundation and air ambulance ones

what gets me is, if i dont have anything i usuallt still the bag out, so they can re-use it, but they never collect it, what a waste of money.

we sometimes get loads in one week and none for about 3.. average abt 5 aweek- use them as bin bags, not good quality bags mind, rip easily as they're sooo thin...lol

They should all come with a registered charity number on them, which you can check out on-line at the ]Charity Commission Homepage.

We get an average of 5 or 6 a week.

Annoys me because money you do donate to the charities are wasted on these, I bet they dont get back as much £ in clothes etc as it costs for all the bags

We take ours to a charity shop personally because even if you leave it out for a reputable charity (not one that sells the clothes to the people in other countries who need them - dont get me started on that!) other people pick them up
