Balloon Joke-its the worst ever!

Found 10th Oct 2010
One night a young balloon wakes up after a nightmare and decides to hop into bed with mum and dad for some reassurance.

But mum and dad are taking up the whole bed,so he lets a little bit of air out of daddy balloon. But there still isnt enough room.

So he lets a little bit of air out of mummy balloon. But there STILL isnt enough room in the bed.

So he lets a tiny bit of air out of himself, and climbs into bed with mum and dad.

Next morning at breakfast Daddy balloon is clearly upset so the youngster asks whats wrong.

"Listen son, last night when you came into our bed you let me down, you let your mother down.but more importantly, you let YOURSELF down!"

Ive already got my coat.

Urrrr, it's rather revolting looking back!
When my brother and I were children, we used to get into my parents' bed (normally on a Sunday) and then get under the duvet then my dad would fart and whoever lasts the longest under the duvet without coming up for fresh air wins. That is Dutch ovens.

oO wonder why it never caught on

Lol, i thought it was normal when I was younger and my brother and I were so competitive. My parents say they did it as it kept us quiet and in bed for half an hour or so and they enjoyed the peace and quiet. now looking back it is the most revolting thing ever!
Just to prove it's not my weird family who made it up: wikipedia

If it reassures you, I won't do it to my children lol.

Edit: Urban Dictionary mentions trapping your loved one under the sheets But I am not sure that this is helping my arguement, lol, I thought it was normal!

Nah, no children for me yet but I do have a nephew mwahahaa (just kidding, he'll be safe from Dutch ovens, I won't inflict it on anyone).
My cousin used to come and stay and call Dutch ovens 'Bun in the oven'. She once told her mum 'We played bun in the oven in bed on Sunday morning and I won!'....that wasn't easy for my dad to explain.
OK, I think I should be quiet now, I'm not helping myself here. Every family has their quirks. My family probably have more than average though X)
