Balsam Hill Artificial Christmas trees - your experiences please

Found 25th Nov 2016
I'm thinking of ordering an artificial Christmas tree from Balsam Hill website - balsamhill.co.uk/Pro…203 - unlit version. The online customer reviews are mixed, especially on their customer services and warranty.

Has anyone ordered from them? Any unforgettable experiences?
Has anyone bought this exact model tree - Norway Spruce? Any thoughts on quality and value for money?
Appreciate all responses. Thanks in advance.

I hope the lack of responses stopped you ordering one! They have gone into meltdown and have literally been inundated with hundreds of angry customers who are still awaiting delivery of their orders after 2-3 weeks later. Unfortunately when I was researching them all the reviews were positive. If you did order hope you were one of the lucky ones who got their order.

Thanks yorkie! The lack of responses did stop me from ordering one, ended up getting a similar one slightly cheaper too. Their TV ads are still going on, despite angry customers waiting for their order fulfilment. Anyway, thanks for taking time to respond. X)

I was chatting to a work colleague yesterday about them as she has bought one and has said how quick it was delivered and how real it looks. I first saw the TV adverts 2 years ago and have thought about getting one ever since but I'll wait until next year.

We will be putting our tree up tomorrow, as we do every year, as my mum died on 10th December 21 years ago. My sister, brother and now my newly married daughter all put our trees up on the 10th and we all message each other with photos of our trees up. My tree is now 20 years old and it cost over £100 back then but how much would I have spent on flowers had I have bought flowers for her grave. My tree still look good but has a couple of broken branches which I point towards the corner but I still feel like it's time for a new one. I'll be looking out for email offers from them.

(can I just say - I came to the 'Ask' section to ask a question, I hadn't searched for Balsam Hill Trees)
