went to the bank about 2 weeks ago to order a replacement bank card, due to my card having a slight crack in it (card still worked), nothing appeared, so i went to the bank yesterday to find out if it had been ordered and the postie was on a speeding spree, or it was never ordered. the manager confessed that the card was never ordered and that she was very sorry and that she had order the replacement card for me. to day i discovered that my card was cancelled on the 12th, by the bank but they never ordered the replacement ( i hadnt used the card in over a week). phone them today again to air my disgust at their incompetence, i asked for some compensation, what is the standard compensation for this sort of thing, the last time i complained it was £25 per cock up, is this still the going rate these days?
