    Hi

Did anyone see this yesterday morning on BBC breakfast ?

Has anyone actually had it done ? Did you have the needle? Anyone any info where this is done currently and how much - ?
I hate the dentist because of the needle - this would be perfect for me - anyone ?

i heard on the radio that it was just invented and will be avaliable in 3 years time.

Here is a link to a news article on the subject. Seems like a good idea could be a while before it comes into practice so lay of the sweets till then

I read that as getting a free filling if you opt for the laser needle... I should stop reading adverts so much.

If you hate needles I'm sure dentists can use an anaesthetic spray. Or the gas...

Or just have it with none.

True. Never had a filling so not sure how painful it is. Had loads of work done on my teeth though, and have experienced the needle, spray and gas. Needle's the best.

I'm starting to sound like Bill Murray in Little Shop of Horrors :?

You wont get the gas anymore - i has my last filling without anything - wont do that again! lol - it was a deep filling!

I'm petrified of needles, it's so bad that everytime I have to have one I get prescribed diazepam to chill me out, someone has to be there to supervise me but it really works. Without it I had panic attacks days before at just the thought of a needle!

Bill Murray wasn't in little shop of horrors, it was Steve Martin who played the dentist, and Rick Moranis played Seymour

Bill Murray played the man with an unhealthy obsession with the dentist
to the point that he sickens Steve Martin's character...
