BBC i-Player - you can now download programmes to mobile devices

No fanfare by BBC, but I've tried it with Creative Zen and it works perfectly. Also, you can keep as long as you want; programmes don't expire within 28 days as they do if you download to PC.

Choose your programme then download to media player from the download options.

I've been using the download facility for some time - I believe there is a requirement to download the "download manager" as a one-off for downloading to PC, but not to mobile devices.

The only "snag" I've found when watching stuff on my Zen is that you have to watch the first few seconds of a downloaded programme on your computer for the licence to kick in before you can transfer it.

Thanks for this - now to look for a creative zen! Or would someone recommend a better player which is compatible? This would be really useful when travelling, especially as most content I watch is BBC.
