BBC TAX DODGERS IN TEARS HAVING TO PAY CORRECT TAX.

Found 29th Oct 2017
The BBC tax dodgers who decided they shouldn't pay the correct taxes and used sham companies have to start paying the correct rates from Friday and oh how the millionaire socialists are squealing about it.

"Some stars were in tears" is my favourite line. Poor them earning enough to pay 40% in tax and not being able to sham their way out of not paying for the NHS, education and coal.miners pensions.

Not to worry the BBC didn't reduced the gravy train when male staff were exposed to be being paid more they increased females may to hugely excessive levels too. You're paying for this in the BBC TV Licence, the BBC thanks you from its ivory towers.

Lets make the BBC SUBSCRIPTION BASED. those who want to pay the tax dodgers can do so all day long. Lets not forget OPERATION YEWTREE!

Making BBC subscription based would not prevent tax dodging and would make govt influence harder not easier - check Amazon for peats sake!!

Large Tax dodgers exist in most organisations - the standard should be applied equally - theres a whole bunch of tax dodgers - under Conservatives tax dodging has been made tougher by the govt and HMRC - its good news.
Seriously Graham, you're beginning to sound like a broken record.

Surely everybody knows by now that they're under the control of lefty puppeteers - and if they don't know it then it is they the people in their homes that are living in ivory towers blissfully blind to reality.

Nevertheless, the fact the left have it under their control is no reason to destroy it - there was a time the right had it under their control and the left bleated about it, but the tables have turned and it's now the left running the show.

It could very easily change tomorrow.

Seriously Graham, you're beginning to sound like a broken record.

Let's randomly choose a small subset of people that used dodgy tax advice companies to push ones own agenda.
In other words you could just as equally pick from the full list a subset of those that voted for or against that referendum thing from last year and push your agenda regardless of which side of the fence you are on.
So meaningless really.
The BBC could be a mega media company if were to scrap the licence and go subscription only with new documentary ,film, entertainment and sports channels.

But no they sit there in their lazy gold plated ivory towers spouting their champagne socialist dogma that results in honest law abiding people ending up with thousand pound fines or imprisonment because they don't want to watch liveTV.
Graham, stop drinking the kool-aid son.

Must admit I usually feel tearful when handing over a payment to HMRC or when one of their brown envelopes land on my mat on a friday morning.

I would support this if there were a way to have a service devoid of advertising.

They advertise already but not like existing commercial stations

And if they created more programs that were worthy of turning on the box rather than having repeats of repeats then they could go PPV or subscription. The fact that they get millions from licence payers means they don't need to be and can push whatever agenda and repeats they want but what really infuriates me is overseas people get the BBC for free yet every UK home that watches live TV needs to pay whether they watch the BBC or not.

If everyone realised they can watch catchup services or via online later free saving (I think it's about) £145 a year and thereby stop funding this unaccountable biased untrustworthy corporation then things should get better
Channel 4 and 5 don't get that many viewers compared to BBC and ITV but they still survive

So your saying if I was to decide to only watch the catch service on my Virgin box I don't have to pay the licence, It's not as easy to avoid as that is it?
BBC is the best broadcasting service in the world by far.
I wish people would differentiate between tax evasion and tax avoidance instead of using tax dodging all the time.

Miles you sexy thing, I've missed you on here (I haven't seen you in ages). I guess the BBC tax dodging millionaires are the same ones that are on Comic Relief tell you to give what you can afford. The same people sat on Children's wards with 8 year old cancer sufferers bemoaning the NHS for not funding treatment. These are the same millionaire socialists paid for and funded by the "Licence fee" payer who earn extortionate amounts and tried to avoid paying their fair share.

NAME, SHAME and kick them out of public life, what type of role model are they setting.

It should be with it's £4,000,000,000 budget. Enforced by threats of prison if you don't pay Hugh Edwards salary.

Look you pay for it on subscription and you can have it as much as you like, I don't pay Honda to drive a Ford but have to pay the BBC to watch Sky? Plus the thousands of children that the BBC staff abused and raped over the years. It should have been shut down then.
TV is for plugging games consoles into nothing else to do with em

I can just imagine Chris Evans et al with tears streaming and wailing uncontrollably that they have to pay their fair share for NHS nurses, teachers and social care. It's just so unfair.

I have always found it strange that the BBC were the only ppl to ever employ pedos,

Yes it is, kind of like how your average person will try to avoid paying VAT to get cheaper services from tradesman which IS illegal.

People will try using legal ways to pay less tax - the government even encourage it by offering products like tax free ISAs and tax relief on pensions - if tax avoidance is so wrong everyone should just pay as much as possible and get no tax relief whatsoever.

One is illegal, one is what everyone does.
I like the comments where people are shaking their fists in moral outrage, but would be doing the exact same thing if they were millionaires.

How many ind plumbers, decorators, chippies etc do you know that are registered in Luxembourg? Nearly everyone who's SE can evade a certain amount of tax but these are relatively small fry compared to big corporations but carry on muddying the waters, works everytime!

So, are Amazon or EBay UK based and owned companies? Are they doing anything illegal? You seem to muddy the waters and can't differentiate between morality and illegality.

I wonder after paying your tax bill each year you then make a large voluntary donation to HMRC as you believe it's for a good cause and love making your contribution to society, I on the other hand would (if I could) try to pay the least I can.

I've said this before and I'll say it again because it doesn't get into people's heads- Large corporations like Amazon and Starbucks may not pay what you believe they should in tax, but they still employ thousands of people who get a wage and pay taxes from their wages and spending.

Anyone can avoid tax, and they do on a regular basis. Big corporations have an obligation to avoid tax within the limits of legality. They can of course decide that the negative publicity outweighs the saving of avoiding as much tax as possible but that is up to them to decide.
