Hi Guys,

I am having a bit of a struggle choosing a new tv

It will be watched most by my daughter for Disney movies etc and then for those glorious hours when I get to watch football (I think it is motion rate/hz I need to look out for - if I remember correctly) and also for the WWE network. I watch it via a PS3 and its terrible. I am hoping a smart tv will help with the Network

Any chance the more tech savvy among you could help me pick between the below?

£449 - LG 49UF640V 49 Inch 4K Ultra HD Freeview HD Smart TV (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3908271.htm) - the description says motion rate is 1000hz but then in the Q&A says it is infact the PMI that is 1000 - I cannot find an 'exchange rate' to compare regular hz to pmi

£449 - LG 49UF680V Smart 4k Ultra HD 49" LED TV - currys.co.uk/gbu…tml - edgelit, does that matter? it also says the pmi is 1000 and the hz is 1000, maybe the above is also?

If you have any other ideas (there are so many options out there!) I am looking for a 4k, smart, 50" ish for about £500

I appreciate any help you guys can offer

£499 - SAMSUNG UE48JU6445 Smart 4k Ultra HD 48" LED TV (http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/televisions/televisions/samsung-ue48ju6445-smart-4k-ultra-hd-48-led-tv-10124850-pdt.html)

£470 - Hitachi 49 inch 4K UHD SMART LED TV (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4616225.htm)

£499 - Philips 50PUT6400 50 Inch 4K UltraHD Smart Android TV (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3925041.htm)

£499 - Samsung 48JU6000 48 Inch UHD 4K Smart LED TV (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4247216.htm)

£519 - Panasonic TX-48CX400B 48Inch 4K Ultra HD FreeviewHD Smart TV (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3845475.htm)

Thank you

If i didn't desperately need a TV for my new house i would give up.
For the people looking who's budget is a little higher than OPs (or of the OP was considering stretching their budget) I bought the PANASONIC TX-50CX680B 50" brilliant TV.. Works very well with refresh rates with the ps4 & is used mainly to watch football. once I configured the settings to almost match richer sounds recommended settings it's perfect. I've experienced no gaming lag. The built in apps work well (along with the WWE network.. Even through wifi I get as good performance as I also get from my shield TV)

It also has decent sound too... I come from an LG HD tv which weren't great at all with sound. This is much better. With clarity and volume.

I was going visit RicherSounds and pick up a TV this weekend and thought I'll look online one last time before I committed and came across a some decent Hisense TVs at Argos. they have a couple of 50" at the £450 range. but personally this one stuck out to me argos.co.uk/sta…003

they also have a 55" 4k 3D set for £650

I wasn't sure about hisense as they aren't a big make and we have been burned before with a dodgy no name tv

Has anybody got any experience of them?
Research them. Hisense are a huge company

i was under the same impression but upon research they are one of the better brands and are big in Europe. They are the Kia and Hyundai of electronics
