Best 6/7 seater for around £1000?

Going away on holiday, and there is 6 of us, looked into hiring one, but they want over £600 for two weeks, so going to buy one and sell it on, even if there is a small loss, it is still cheaper.

Anyone got any suggestions for that price range? Preferably one that comes in a diesel

Big Toyota, cant remember what its called or you could get an older Zafira.

Yeah, i've been there searching through, but there's so many different options, and there might be some 6 seaters i've missed, that i'm not familiar with.

Cheapest Zafira locally is about £1800

I would personally steer away from a zafira as with the age your looking at you could end up spending more on breakdown
i own a vw sharan ( same as galaxy and elhambra) and would recommend either on

Where are you from?

So I know where to look around?

just use the search facility to show any make but select mpv from the car type dropdown. you can even put your postcode in to find ones close to you

I'm in Birmingham

Ok, thanks

Why not think slightly outside the box and go for a transit mini-bus?

Cheap reliable and easy to source parts for ]Tranny Bus

Plus if its for six going on holiday it will leave ample luggage space. You could even remove some seats easily to help!

Dont know if this near.

]Toyota.

i love my Zafira but it does not have a lot of boot space when the back seats are up

Just had a quick look on autotrader for you. How about something like this? Toyota Townace

Nice idea, in theory, but i only have a Cat B license, which only covers me to 8 seats. Also this is a quick buy and sell, not permanent, may be harder to shift a minibus.

Thanks.

Have a look at Kia Sedona.
I have one. It's great. They are pretty cheap and you get loads of extras with them.
As other peeps have said, have a look in auto trader or the like.

i have owned loads of mpvs

the galaxy i would say is pretty bog standard but was quite nippy, not very roomy either

the espace was great very roomy not much boot though, also all the seats come out for more space

the toyotas are great, big boot, comfortable but may work out pricey on juice

maybe its worth looking on ebay for an lpg mpv if u want to do some travelling in it,also lpg converted cars seem to sell well

seen as u are only after it to use then sell i would go for an espace more room for luggage

there is an lpg galaxy on ebay in birminham 120288483273
