    Flubit them

Most S905 or S905X boxes should be fine (I have two A95X's) but if you actually want Kodi to run well then get LibreElec on it, it's significantly better, runs faster, smoother playback, better quality. Proper display rate matching and surround sound support. It's a no brainer. Just need a decent Micro SD Card for it, 8 or 16GB is fine, I recommend the Samsung Evo or Evo+ (the Sandisks are poor).

    Don't need a SD card

I got one off eBay called an mbox and it was cheap, like £17. Runs Kodi no problem ans it's cute

You could pick up a Firestick and load it on yourself, really easy and quick to do. Only takes a few minutes. You might get a decent price on the 1st edition fire stick with 2nd edition being available from April 6th I think.

if you run liberelec then a 1gb ram model is fine. dual boot it and you have the best of both world's. no point spending extra. can use microsd cards as low as 2gb, probably would work with 1gb for liberelec.

do not get a fire stick, overpriced and outdated, and Amazon restricts.what you can do.

mini m8s ii, 2gb version, is the best at the moment, and there is a great custom ROM that fixes any bugs on freaktab.com by xannytech.

also, use spmc instead of kodi.
they are the same, but spmc is optimised for android, specifically the amlogic chip that comes with this box.

a little bit over priced At present, it's been at 26 a few weeks ago. the only problem with the new mini m8s has been the weak Wi-Fi on the recently produced model due to the change of Wi-Fi chip used.

I recently got the mecool hm8 for 20 quid and It's great, Wi-Fi is strong, has a reset button, runs liberelec, rooted from the factory.
