    Best Broadband Deals ATM?

What are the best deals for broadband atm? Doing a search brings loads of subzero deals. What company do you reccomend also? I've been looking into o2 but they put a cap on the download speeds at peak times =O

i think most places cap you in some way, are you in a cabled area or would it be through your phone line?

In a cabled area I think.
Yeh I presume they do too, but a 100kb cap on their All Rounder package seems quite alot (well for my usage purposes anyway). Other providers I've been with in the past havn't capped to that extent from my experience.

Is this something new to O2, as I'm on O2 and have been for years and I still get the full 1.4-1.6 meg at peek times.

Yes, its only for the newer contracts, so don't be tempted by their '3 months free' offers if you sign a new contract
We have also had O2 contract here for about 4 years now so are also on the older contract/

OP, Sky has good recommendations and - according to HUKD users who posted in my thread earlier today - they don't cap download speeds or have a limited usage policy

If you've been an o2 broadband customer since a certain date (october 2010 I think) then these caps won't effect you..

Thanks for the recomendation.. Just been looking at their deals actually. But I need Broadband only, works out to £145 (with activation fee). Still worth thinking about though due to te no capping.
Orange looks okay £120 a month but not sure about their capping..

Whatever you do dont get Sky Access if they offer it you, because its slower than dial up during peak times.

BE (who O2 run on) dont have any caps. So have a look at them.

Im on Sky BB and never have experianced capping issues and quite reguarly download about 3-4gb+ a week not a massive amount but also never have any slowdown during peak times.

Sky connect is just a rebranded BT line and basically means that the sky b/b network is not available in your area.
OP goto samknows exchange checker and look for suppliers with LLU, this means that you are in a network area for certain b/b suppliers and they can offer faster speeds.
