    Best Broadband Provider Deal???

at the moment i am with Pipex (just under £10.00) but having a few problems.
I have BT line and am looking for relatively low user deal with calls included.
I currently have a problem with buffering - what speed do i need to go up to to stop this.
I have looked at BT for just over £15 per month but the deal says you only get 250 wifi minutes per month and we will use our laptop for longer than that.
Thought about sky see surf but it's not available on our area (Crook, County Durham)
    Any advice greatly appreciated

try plusnet, virgin, aol, or talk talk

i notice Aol do a 1 month contract package on some of their bundles where most do 12 or 18 months,

Try 02 broadband, its awesome and fast (but depends how far you are from the exchange). Also the customer service is good. Was with Orange before and Tiscali before that but had constant disconnections, but with 02 I have had no problems (for 8 months). They have various options but if you have a 02 mobile with them, then the broadband will be cheaper.

    I have mine through O2...about £7.50 a month i think

The free wireless minutes for BT Internet are only for when you are out and about not for when you are using it at home! The home use just connects wirelessly to your home hub and doesn't use the free minutes!

I can only comment that whilst not the cheapest my BT Internet has been fantastic in terms of reliability!

avoid orange if u can ( poor customer service reviews)
    sky are questionable IMO

tip : try and go for a uk call centre support.......????

PLUSNET based in sheffield is supposedly very good??
IMO bt are a good provider but i havent seen if the grass is greener so shop around and good luck....

    Have you thought about cable?
    TV, Phone Line, 10MB Broadband - £25/month (I think)

Doh! Thanks. I see that BT have £50 offer if you go through quidco and £20 off bill (until March) - might be worth considering

yes i'm with sky, but the broadband doesn't cover our area. i don't think cable like Virgin does either
I have seen ads for PlusNet and it seems very cheap and includes telephone line. i will look into this
thanks for all your help guys

only thing that puts me off BT is the whopping 18 month contract, great if its reliable, not so if u get probs, u cant get out for 18 months

O2 is by far the best, UK based call centre, ADSL +2, quality build product and great technical support!

its about £12 but if your an o2 customer you get it for £7.50 a month. and its unlimited usage.

Just to let you know - i've gone with Talk Talk on a 12 MONTHS free 18 month contract (only pay line rental for the first 12 months). Must say after dealing with Pipex the costomer service of Talk Talk is excellent!!!
