Best cheap heavyweight fleece/hoody

I'm going to Iceland in January, expecting it to be very cold. I'm looking for a thick heavyweight fleece that will stand up to below zero temperatures. I recently bought a Regatta Sigma Energise, but its a bit too thin. Can anyone recommend something suitable? I don't want to spend too much as chances are I won't need them once I'm back in the UK.

rab double pile is what you need, can easy wear it in the UK too, can get them used good on ebay for cheap

Layers are what you need not one heavy item.

I know I need layers, but I also want a thick fleece for when I'm out and about in town walking to and from places.

I find gilden ultra t-shirts good for layers, I think they do sweatshirts as well . sold on eBay

anything polartec 300 (thickest) ..& if you have a cat or dog look for a velour finish on the outer!

You should email that Bear G guy, he'll know. X)

Try the Ayacucho medina hoody fleece. Really warm

lands end do fab jackets for v cold temp.
