Best compact digital camera for under £100

Ok guys, please sort me out. My sister had her camera stolen whilst travelling so my parents have asked me to find a new camera they can give her for Christmas. There budget is £100 tops. Have seen the canon A3000 deal for sixty at Argos and have one reserved for pick up tomorrow if needs be, but I'm sure somebody on here can find me something better. Rep etc await the bedtime deals

Just noticed the Argos camera sale ends today and the A3000 is only for store pick up. AFAIK I would have to pay the price it is tomorrow not when I reserved it tonight. Gone for the Samsung PL201 frm Argos at £99.99 as it was in stock for home del. Seems to have good spec and the x7 optical zoom is good. My mum can always return it to an Argos store if anybody knows of any better deals?

Thanks for the offer Stefor but my parents are old school and like to be able to take things back to the shop if it goes wrong. They will buy online from stores who have high street present. Crazy I know
