Metallica - Whisky in the jar.
Sisters of mercy - Emily Probably not everyones cup of tea but reminds me of being a angst ridden teenager,

"I'll say that this is without question the best cover of this song I've ever heard. That being said, anyone who claims this is better than Black Sabbath's original 1970 recording deserves to be sodomized with an ice auger."

Not sure if this is a good or bad cover version

Foo Fighters - Band On The Run

    Bully

Dolly Parton : Stairway to Heaven

Nah, Rolf Harris - Stairway To heaven, takes the pisch in a way that it needs to be taken - more rhythmic, features Miss Given, and has a cracking Didgeridoo solo.

Can't argue with Hendrix- Watchtower though, sublime

Cradle of Filth's Hallowed Be Thy Name, marginally better than Iron Maidens but both still excellent.

Travis; Hit me baby one more time
    Manics; Umbrella
