Best Credit Card: With No Minimum Spend In First X Amount of Months

Hey folks, it's time I got myself a credit card as I recently found myself in a tight situation the other day.

I'm 20 years old and I've been working full time for 5 months now - is that enough to get me a credit card?

I was looking around and some card companies say you have to make a minimum spend in the first x amount of a months, I'd like a card where this isn't compulsory as I want to only use it for emergencies.

Thanks girls and boys!

Should be fine getting one, as long as your income is regular and dont have any other bad credit history. Depends on how much you are earning on which card you will get obviously. I have never had a credit card where you have to make a minimum spend. Check this out for the best, tesco & natwest are doing 0% on purchases for 13 months which is pretty good

Hi trouty - thanks for your suggestion. I noticed lloyds in the list, this is the bank that I use to pay my salary in.

I've thought about getting this card - lloydstsb.com/cre…asp - Is it a good deal?

It seems okay and should set up fairly quickly. Cheers.

Yeh looks good. I was gonna say go with your bank account as its so easy as they no your salary, apply online and it should be with you in a week or so.
