    Best crtedit card for rewards?

I am getting married next Sept (09) and as you can imagine have a lot of spending to do.

Now we are saving up the money rather than getting in to debt for the sake of our wedding, however we figure we may as well get a credit card and use it for the purchases then pay them off straight away and earn whatever bonuses we can.

Can anyone recommend a CC with a good reward scheme? Air mile or useful points or something?

5% cashback is better than airmiles or rewards?

I hope everything goes well for you and your better half........

Tesco credit card is good, clubcard points on all your purchases and I don't think there's a limit.

There are better cards but they have limits so you may need a couple.

That one's good for the first 3 months, not very good after that. Only a £4,000 limit on spending to earn cashback in the first three months. Might be spending more than that on the wedding. It's not accepted everywhere either so you might have trouble with it.

Use it as much as possible but have a backup cashback card too.

the airmiles credit card gives you a mile for every £10 you spend. Not only that, they will give you 1500 free airmiles with your first spend. As long as you pay off in full this one would be best I reckon.

I have a Tesco credit card which seems to build up points, which will come in handy at a later date.

tesco credit card gives .5p per £1 spent but 2p per£1 if spent in any tesco store/petrol station/website
rewards are given in clubcard vouchers and come every 3 months with your normal vouchers

I think is's 0.2p most places, ie 0.8p in deals.

2p per pound instore but that includes usual 1p clubcard points so the credit card bit is only giving 1p, ie 4p in deals.
