    well?

We need a budget to help you: 30, 40,50 per month?

personally, I would look at topcashback who do cashback on new mobile contracts over the internet with EE, O2 etc. I'm with EE on a sharer plan. We have 20GB data, unlimited Calls and text for £52 a month since got an iphone 64gb 5S, with other handsets added at £11 per month and tablets at £5 per month to all share the data. Works out better if you have multiple people in A family.

Options are buy phone outright and get sim only. For this You could look at new phone which is unlocked eg Iphone, Galaxy or HTC.

Please note, new iphone 6 is out in sept, galaxy s5 is out now and new HTC One M8. These are circa £500 new. I really like the htc m8 phone even though not an android user at the moment.

Contract wise, as I said look at doing it online to get cashback.

O2 do something called refresh where you can get the phone and tariff separately. So your bill is monthly payments for the phone and line rental. Once you finish paying off the loan for the phone, you can continue with just the line rental. The benefit of this is that IF you take out a contract and say in 4 months want to change phones, you just pay off the rest of your phone loan to O2, say you're leaving and they cancel the remaining airtime. No limits etc, no exit or termination fees. It's a get-out way to the take a new contract: they hope you will rejoin with them obviously.
