Poundland for, errr a £1. Or a Tesco value one.

Most stores that sell electrical goods will have a HDMI cable.

Tesco, Sainsburys, Comet, Currys, PC World etc (not sure if they are all open today)

dont buy from currys/pc world etc there a rip off - as said above £ land 99p shop

legends, confirmed what i was thinking.... also, im being a bit dim here but are they all the same? or can you get m/m, m/f or f/f ones ? i thought they would be a bit like the adult film industry and have loads of combos.

Generally the same as for the most part it either carries the digital signal or it doesn't. It all then boils down to build quality (will it hold together) and vanity. I've found the sub £5 cables more than do the job.

I got one from thatcable.com and thats quality for the price in terms of build.

Yeah you can get different types well eg a DVI-HDMI which I'm using on my PC to monitor but for a PS3 or Blu-ray player etc you just need a standard HDMI which is M/M. Plug it in a the job's a gd'un.

Try Argos as a best bet. If not somewhere such as Homebase, Game. Comets will try and sell you a £50 one, it's no better.
Don't worry about gold ends and quality labels. By something that looks well made. Not sure poundland will be the place. Anything up to a £5 is reasonable.

Do Sony ever put leads in the boxes? All my Sony stuff never has any, yet evrything else I have ever bought that uses HDMI does. At least tell us FFS

Yeah, although i still have yet to even play a game yet.... trying at the moment with the component and the first game i tried (little big planet) has required 13 updates that have so far taken over an hour!!! come back 360...all is forgiven.... i must persevere.

Bloody hell, at least the multiple updates my 360 seems to have never intrude on gameplay

Homebargains do a gold plated 1.5m HDMI cable for £2.99

Been using it for about the last week and it's fine.

I tried Poundland / Poundworld but the ebay vultures must have bought them in bulk to make a tidy profit over the holidays
