Im looking for a good electric sander to sand the skirting boards in my bedroom. The circumference is approximately 14m, what would you recommend?

Assuming that your skirting boards are do not have a moulding at the top, a belt sander for the bulk of it and a palm sander for the corners and tops. For such a small amount of work it might be cheaper to hire the kit for a day.
Just buy a palm sander as you only need to sand lightly to create a key for the new paint

The B&Q mouse sander is pretty good:

it is my go to sander and I own an expensive Bosch Professional one.
As a preparation for painting, you will get a much nicer finish with a random orbital sander, they are also much less likely to leave marks from being left in the same position while sanding.

Another benefit is that as they are usually a standard size you can buy 50 packs of disks for £10, rather than the "3 sheets for £10" type deals you see with sanders that use specific disks.
