Hi,

Hope someone can help/ provide some advice. My Wife is going to China with Uni and everyone says that china is a great place to get Cheap Branded electronic gear. She will be looking for a digital camera for our own use and also 1 or 2 items that we could resell to recoup some of the travel costs. Looking for something small as weight/volume is an issue due to luggage allowances.

I had a quick look on Ebay and i thought that the Apple ipod Touch 16 or 32gb models could be a good buy as they are very popular, they would not weigh much yet they sell for around £230ish on Ebay. So dependant on price in china may get 2 of them to resell

Does anyone have any other suggestions/ advice on this.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thank you

Its a great place to buy fake branded goods, no good for genuine stuff. Depends if you want to end up in trouble with the fuzz.

I'd steer well clear of this, as anyone who buys it off you would have all sorts of trouble with warranty. And surely you would have competition from Chinese sellers already established on eBay? I think it may be more trouble than it is worth.

Has anyone tried this? How was your experience?

I thought that this may be the case, i dont want to buy any fake items, although i have been told that they sell amazing fake handbags in China.. (not my bag though!)

I certainly would not want to get in trouble with the "fuzz" or the police for that matter

Thank you for your reply

Hi Solid, I thought that i would have one up on the Chinese Sellers as would be able to post from the UK so lower postal costs and quick postal to the UK.

But i think that you may be right as it probably is more hassle then it is worth...

No such thing as a quick buck hey..

maybe buy some roxy/quiksilver stuff that always sells well on fleabay especially rucksacks and handbags
