I would say the exercise bike is the worst machine really.

dont know about exercise machine, but heard sowing up your mouth works a treat

Bikes are terrible, a step or running machine are the best for burning calories.

Whichever one you are most likely to use would be the best though. I loathe running, so having a running machine would do me no good at all :P

You burn 100calories per mile you run so you are better off not eating as much, than you are going for a run in terms of weight loss. Of course its better to diet as well as exercise.

Change diet and exercise using a few different techniques, rather than just running or just using the bike. Losing weight and getting healthy is a lifestyle choice, those who think they can diet and get in shape in 3/4 months never do. If your obese then you'll never get "thin" without a complete overhaul of your lifestyle so either: 1. Forget about it and enjoy the burgers and fries or 2. Be prepared for 2 years of hard graft before you see massively different results.

i find running boring so i joined an aerobics/zumba class and its really fun.....remember to tone up as well as burn the fat

but like other have said if your diet is crap then theres no point in exercising

Always seems to register as rather more than that for me. Either you're wrong or I'm seriously overweight ( the heavier you are the more calories you use). Fairly sure I'm not that big, so come to your own conclusion...

I would strongly recommend never to buy any exercise equipment new look on gumtree, ebay, freecycle you would probably be able to pick one up at quarter the price or if your lucky free.

Depends on what you are using to count the calories. Am I wrong or is your machine wrong? At the end of the day they are probably both estimations.

rowing is one of the best machines in the gym for weight loss. make sure you are doing it right tho.

The best one is going to be one you enjoy the most - one that you're going to be less likely to give up in a couple of weeks / months

    STAIRS...

Get a decent rowing machine. Workouts are a bit harder but uses all the major muscle groups, I believe it burns more calories per hour than any other machine. I use rower every morning fasted, 10 mins warmup then 14 mins HIIT, in my opinion you won't get a better workout in that timeframe.
