How do you figure that?

I did go with hotfile after rapidshare decided to shoot themselves in the head, but I have found most of the uploaders are migrating to megaupload now

Mediafire?

I still use rapidshare but I notice more and more stuff being uploaded to megaupload.com

Which one of these sites is it that you can download anything as a 'premium' member via a simple edit of the download address?

Oh I remember now, on megaupload, if you add in 'mgr_dl.php' (without the quote marks) before the question mark in the download link, it downloads as if you had a premium account.

use leechpack

its only downfall is that you cant use it with hotfile.

Darn it, they must've closed the loophole since I last did it!

Whats wrong with Newsgroups?

try the irc network with mirc

Anybody having issues with Hotfile?

Website gives me a 503 page and jdownloader just kicks up a 'fatal error'. I'm on BT internet. I shifted over to Hotfile when Rapidshare became pay as you download (rather than pay for a set time) but found it was basically throttled on evenings and weekends and i'm concerned BT has now decided to block the site communist China style.

I used to always use Rapidshare, they then changed everything and I got a bit sick of it, I then went to Megaupload as there was a few "things" on there I wanted, seems fast probably not as fast as Radpidshare, but at least I am not capped. I bought a hotfile account yesterday as thats where all the downloads are mostly going nowadays, and it is so slow. Its nothing compared too rapidshare but you get like 100gb traffic for cheaper than Rapidshare. I have like 28gb left on Rapidshare but it has expired, I might renew it might not will see if theres anything I need on there in next couple of days,

Now getting plugin error and invalid account on my premium Hotfile in Jdownloader but it can now download in browser.

Theories from other people with the same problem seem to range from Hotfile intentionally messing up Jdownloader (unlikely) to Hotfile being stuck on the IWF list as happened to Rapidshare a while back.
