East Midlands seems to be a much cheaper place to fly from and too. Well compared to Birmingham and Coventry, which are the closest. Though its pay the extra £6 for the taxi journey so it works out about £105. From my house to Tenerife and back, which I will say is very good since that week is half term.

Its two different airlines by the way. MyTravel there, Thompson back.

Where abouts? Umm. Leicester is about 30minutes travelling from here, so its a little less. But there will be 6 of us, and Birmingham is cheaper, I don't know why. But its straight down the M6 so isn't much in it. East Midlands isn't really as busy and long haul flights neither.

I live on the A5 pretty much. Which is North Bound to Atherstone and South bound to wherever. Where I use to play, and still "hang out", at night you can see the logos on the planes, landing lights, navigation lights. The full works because there flying quite low.

The A5 isnt far from here.. it goes through Towcester so about 4 or 5 miles. Good thing about EMA is the CAA EC135 G-EMAA is based there :w00t:

Sweeeet. I've not long been back from Majorca. Lovely weather

I flew with Monarch when I went Majorca, because it was a morning flight I decided not to sleep. I'm glad I did, because the plane was awful, the leg space was tiny! I'm only 5"11 and found it a joke. I think Thompson are one of the best I've flown with though, not a problem with anything when flying with them

Nearly every charter ive been on has been a morning flight... so im used to airline breakfasts once a year But last year and this year ive got an afternoon flight -so its normally something like chicken pie :-D

I cant say Monarch are that bad, they gave me 2 puddings (chocolate eclaires) on the way back from Lanzarote when I was 11. But, I go against fast food, well McDonalds + KFC anyway. Haven't ate them in 4 years. Subway and Pizza Hutt are exemptions :-D. I still don't understand how you can like aeroplane food, I love the smell, I hate it when people are eating around you, and your so hungry, the smell is just wofting in your face and it won't go away because of the confined environment!

Fly BMIBaby / Easyjet / Ryanair, no problem with food or TV's. :-D

BMIBaby is good. Been with them before but only to Majorca, so no need with food. Stock up on jam sarnies.

I fly to Spain with them about 7 or 8 times a year, never any delays, unlike bloody Thomson's.

Always take sarnies, not jam though.. :-D

I'm dizzy with the names and numbers already!!

I like flying, But I hate aeroplane food!, The only plane name/model number I can remember is a BA dash 8 and thats because I researched it after a rubbish flight and thinking either it was going to burst into flames or just crash!
