    Best insurer for buildings/contents

Hi, just about to go to bed but would like to get this finalised tomorrow.

Does anyone have any recommendations for insurers for buildings (or contents insurance)?

I am looking at Lloyds TSB (contents with AXA), AA Insurance and possibly Prudential.

All are pretty similar in quotes (even taking Quidco into account), well actually roughly £20-£30 of a difference although I would pay extra if it was a much better company (even though I have not had any claims in at least the last 5 years, LOL).

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

There are some generous cashbacks on Quidco...and you can get get your contents with one provider and buildings with another to benefit from seperate cashbacks..I have contents through Lloyds and buildings through Barclays.

Im with the NFU pretty good for me, maybe worth a look.

I echo this, its possible to get contents and building insurance with different Quidco companies and end up being paid by them for cover!

I changed mine to the Prudential a few months ago and got £75 cash back with Quidco, this was half the cost of the policy!

def worth a look on quidco
