I missed the dang tax year due to me forgeting its easter

Anywho ive got £3000 to put into an isa can anyone suggest the best isa for this amount
Im not going to touch the money and will be planning on putting into the max of £5600 this year

Any ideas as the best i can find is 2.60% which is apalling

So what fixed, cash or bonds?

With the current interest rates, the only ISA I'd look at would be an equity ISA.

Therefore, you might as well invest it yourself!

I agree fully with the equity ISA route. Have a look at Best Invest. They will do their own Isa using a range of Unit Trusts selected by them to make it easy. This has give us a return of 30% since mid-May (in a rising market) which I am very happy with. Long term, equities out perform bank accounts.

last may? so in about a year you got a 30% return + your principal investment?
Isnt 30% usually associated with 5 years?
