Best laptop I can buy for £550 or less?

I use Skype for my job at home (living away from the UK in East Europe), teaching people English in Asia.
So the most important thing is to have a laptop that can easily handle that with no problems, preferably a very speedy one too, as I'm a heavy internet user with this job.

I will link my old model below, had it for roughly 3-4 years I believe and it did the job nicely but has started to recently have issues with connecting to the internet, so I constantly have to use ethernet.

Any recommendations in my price range?

As long as it does the job looks don't bother me. Won't be parading it

You could've bought that HP laptop off eBay for something like £100-120 cheaper.
