Horses for courses, but if I was you I'd go the extra and get a petrol model, last longer, less restrictive and you can't mow through the cable.

Meant to say we have a Mountfield petrol mower, it's the best part of 20 years old and still brilliant, starts first time every time, no rust or deterioration. It get's a service once in a blue moon from a place called Bartram Mowers who sell them in our area. It also does those stripey lawn things if you want to be bothered mowing in straight lines.

flymo is pretty much all I would buy tbh.

Just bought a Flymo RE320 from Homebase after doing a LOT of research. If you have a small lawn (less than 100m2), and don't want to spend £100 for the Bosch Rotak 34, then the Flymo looks the best (reliable) lawn mower in my opinion.

Of course, the best lawn mower would probably be the Qualcast Panther but it is manual...

i was looking for a electric one not petrol. I have a small garden and need one which can easily fold up in my small shed.

I'd go along with this. My flymo lasted 2 years and a couple of months (so no warranty) and just died. Also got the rotak (on 1 of the 10% days so was around the same as in argos now) really like it, much quicker and does a better job then the hover.

Don't forget there is 15% off this weekend too!

Yep I'm looking take advantage if the 15% off. I'm inclined to get the rotak one's.
Looking to a trimmer for the sides of the garden where lawnmower can't reach. Any suggestions for that

I dumped my trimmer (well freecycled it) after this buying the rotak fella. It talks about 'grass combs' and it does look a bit like a gimick, but mine really does cut right the way up to the fence and I only really used the trimmer for that. So it depends on what you mean by 'can't reach' as the rotak seems to have a longer reach than my previous...

Ever thought of a manual one? I got one last year and the cutting is much better than any electric/petrol one I've had.
You get more exercise and it's cheaper too!
