Best pay as you go network?

My sister has been lucky enough that my parents have paid for her phone contract the past 2 years. Its on Virgin, 300 anytime/network mins and 300 texts for £10 a month.

However, now my parents want her to deal with the life of pay as you go and budgetting etc! But I'm just wondering what is the best deal she could have on pay as you go? Not too bothered about an actual phone, just choosing a network that will give her something for a tenner. Texts are more important than minutes.

Personally I think they should just make her give them a tenner of her pocket money instead as it's a fair deal for a tenner at the moment.

Cheers for any advice. I grew up with Orange Out Here...what a deal, 5 free texts a day as long as you had 1p credit left. Used to save the texts til the evening if I could and then send them out!! And be scared to call anyone incase that 1p got used on someones answerphone then I'd have to top up another £5! Ha, the life lessons in that situation.

All my family are on o2. You get 300 texts for free worth £30 if you top up £10 a month or you get more free texts the more you top up

I use Orange dolphin package. For every £10 credit you top up you get 300 free texts. As a text freak I top up with £20 per month and get 600 free texts, but then I convert £15 of the credit into a 500 text pack bundle. This gives me 1100 texts and £5 call credit for £20

Hey mate at the moment seems T-Mobile seems to be the best:
15£ - 350 minutes & 650 texts
20£ - 500 minutes & unlimited texts
25£ - 800 minutes & unlimited texts
30£ - 1400 minutes & unlimited texts
35£ - 1800 minutes & unlimited texts

Hope this helps??
