Better to build your own, it's much cheaper and will run better, £300 for something pre-built from somewhere will be so much worse than what you can build for £300 yourself....

and its very easy and also fun! it's like adult lego.

Edit: Whoever downvoted me, suck on a doorknob.

I prefer to build my own, but you can sometimes find deals on pre-built systems that actually work out better. Rare, but still possible.

For pre-built I've always used pc specialist

aw08 would say if self build. I trust scan.co.uk a lot. Try this link for starters scan.co.uk/3xs…ors then check deals to compare

Ebay, you can pick up refurbed full systems for next to nothing.

Take a look on ad-sales.co.uk, ex demo HP stock.

Ha ha ha! I want to like this comment but it doesn't let me! People downvote good comments for no reason at all.

At that price point and for those needs, you're probably best off with a laptop. Desktop computers have long since had their day as a fixture in living rooms, and while they (particularly self-built ones) make sense if you need lots of power or capacity, for general use, they're just a bit archaic. Laptops offer the same performance but in a vastly more convenient and portable form factor.

I'm in the process of starting a website and building budget pc's for reasons like this.

I'm guessing its no use to you, right now as I'm just some random guy and not a big business, but yeah.

I've used novatech in the past. well built desktop
