best place to buy pc memory

according to crucial i need the following

    DDR2 memory with support for DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 PC2-8500, DDR2 PC2-5300 speeds.

so im gonna need 4 x 1 gig sticks

where the best place to buy the above.. dont need to be nothing to special as its only for a second pc

    I would advise 2x2GB.

Also Corsair Value Select memory is considered very good for the price.

If you want more information on why 2x2GB is generally considered the way to go, a quick Google on "2x2GB vs 4x1GB" should give you plenty of information.…729

thanks PhearFactor according to crucial my pc only allows 1 gig per slot

1GB max ? It may or may not be the entire truth.I would check motherboard spec first .

Here you have some cheap 1gb sticks…437

    2+ @ £10.99 per stick

If you are not running a 64bit system, everything over 3gig is a waste of money
