9 Comments best exchange rate out there

we go ooooh lets say quite regular, and find the post office is by far easiest and gives a fair rate too, if you go through quidco you get 3.50 back too!! thats almost a pint!!! lol

To buy locally, Cash Converters is usually the best rate, if you have a Nationwide FlexAccount, then get your Euro's abroad using an ATM, you will get the best rate available.

Post Office anytime for convenience and last minute, even our local village PO has euro on demand, they prefer cash, not sure why so I popped over to the bank and obliged, maybe a better ex rate, who knows, who cares, give the PO the business and keep them open. They buy back commission free too.

Post Office for me too, commision free buy back and good rates (keep receipt).Use cash if poss as some banks charge you if its for currency. If using a card/chreque then you will need a passport but cash for Euros is no prob.

I use Marks & Spencer
