Had to change plans so now I have a spare ticket, usually an expensive journey so don’t want it to go to waste

I got a refund on trainline tickets minus a £10 charge recently. Might be worth looking into.

If it helps, I know where to weigh a whale.

Was it an advanced single? They state it can’t be refunded
The ticket is from Cardiff to Manchester. I have a seat reservation also, 16-25 railcard needed but they never check

Not sure, but no harm logging into your account and checking. It was definitely an advanced ticket and only cancelled 36 hours before.
Good luck,

Cardiff Reddit sub
I doubt you can sell it as usually the T&C's prohibit resale.

I hope whoever buys it has a 16-25 Railcard. Otherwise it could end up a very expensive journey for them

Yeah it’s good to have it I’ve done that trip every week and I just think why do I even pay for one if it’s never been checked Transport for Wales is a new train company though so it’s not fully setup like you can’t get seat reservations through your booking you have to phone up and ask for one

They don’t always check but do sometimes, my daughter has had them checks few times.

Oh, I thought it was just a normal train. They must have a very big carriage and lots of water for that then!

I managed to get that ticket for 20 quid because I spilt the ticket I can give it for £15. Spilt ticket just breaks the journey to make it cheaper you don’t get off the train or anything just show both tickets. Or in my case just show the first and they don’t care as long as it’s valid.

The train is quite busy and I managed to snag a seat reservation
