Best Place to sell vintage Hornby Trains

Any ideas? Was going to put them on ebay just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere more specilaist to sell them and realise the most money.

They are all pre-war 'O' Gauge

ebay would be ok, as long as they are listed properly.

You could try a model shop, there is one in Cheltenham near me that sells second hand Hornby trains/track/other.

    What engines have you got?

If you put 'model rail forum' into google it comes up with loads.

Would have thought that was the best place to ask this question.

 Slow monday morning, I've searched everything else but for some reason didn't search that...

I would see if you can find an auction house doing a specialist auction for old "toys".

This will attract the toy collectors and will ensure you get the best price.

P.S. DONT take the first offer you get. Try at a few places as these may be worth a fair bit.

I did a search on "Toy Auction" and found these (you may be able to find one near you)
