Just noticed the sale ends on tuesday, so be quick

Is there a good reason why it has to be 7MP? I would strongly suggest going for a Fuji F20 (even though I'm a long time Canon fan). It's "only" 6.3MP but is a better camera than all the others mentioned so far (In my opinion).

I've said it before, and I'll no doubt say it again, but the lens and sensor quality is so much more important than the number of Megapixels.

This is taken form the Fuji website, so could be seen as being somewhat prejudiced, but I agree 100%

There are still people who believe that more pixels equal better image … There are still people who believe that more pixels equal better image quality. However, most knowledgable photography enthusiasts have agreed that 6 million pixels represent a sufficiently large file size to achieve large prints. What really counts in delivering a high quality image is the quality of the sensor and the processing. When all work together well, such as with the F20, it is a well-known fact that you can get achieve better image quality than 7 or 8 million pixel compacts. With the previous model, the F30, recognised as 2006's TIPA Digital Compact Camera of the Year, it is clear that the F20 is of formidable pedigree.

I've recommened the superb F20 to dozens of people and not one has been dissapointed - it is by far the best value sub £100 camera around at the moment.....be quick before they're all gone

    Totally agree

This F20 shot tends to illustrate the point for those undecided (apologies to those who are bored of it by now  )......for 99% of people spending less than £100, a 6mp camera is all they'll ever need......a salesmen telling you otherwise is simply trying to get his commision from you !

I was going to suggest that you might end up showing your (admittedly brilliant) photo again!
