Best price on a PSP?? And whats the difference between 3000 and PSP Go???

So the kids have decided that DSi's are no longer cool and they want a PSP, yes they decided this 1 week before Christmas! Tempted to say tough and that Santa put them on the Naughty list so they didnt get it! Might make them behave better next year! lol

Anyway, anyone know any good deals? Would prob want a Pink or the Lilac with Hannah Montana and a boys colour! Before I decide what to do!
And whats the difference between the PSP 3000 and the PSP go??

    Thanks

yea my lil one fancy one of these to, but i really dont know the difference or all the filmwire stuff???? haha not very tcehno fob,x but will be keepin a eye on here to see what ones best for me to get to,x

the 3000 uses UMD discs you buy from a shop whereas the GO has built in memory so you buy and download the games from the Playstation network. They both play the same games etc and basically do the same thing.

The go is smaller, slicker but a fair bit more expensive and you don't have access to a 2nd hand market of UMD games

personally, until the price gap narrows or the online prices of download games become consistantly cheaper than retail versions i don't see much appeal of the PSP Go

also if 2nd hand isn't an issue, sometimes there's deals of the PSP 2000 for £70 odd (same as the 3000 but the screen is more prone to red blur)

Right I am thinking the 3000 is the way to go! Kids wouldnt notice the differnce in second hand but I would!
But then again, the go means no more lost games!!!!

    there's a blockbusters deal on used 3000s for £70 hotukdeals.com/ite…-bl

otherwise it's £200 odd for the GO - think there might have been a promo on around £160 but fairly certain it's over

also i should add, the 3000 can download games from PSN as well you just need to add in a memory stick

Personally I would go for a psp1000 - but you know why :P

You can install a patch to it that lets it play emulators, downloaded movies and copied isos for free.
