Best Speakers to use simultaneously with PS3 and PC?

Hey all, i'm thinking about linking my PS3 up to my PC monitor with a HDMI>DVI cable to free up the main TV for the missus.

I know I will lose the sound by moving away from HDMI>HDMI, so will be looking for a suitable set of speakers that can be used both with the PS3 and the PC, with no continuous cable swapping when connected correctly. Both will likely be on at the same time if it helps answer any questions you may have for me.
~~I'm obviously not expecting both signals to be played at the same time

Shame my Dell monitor has neither a DVI or internal speakers, but hey... hoping you guys and girls can come up with a suitable product

Thanks a million, Jin.

Personally I use a Creative DDTS-100 which has 3 digital optical inputs (Sky HD + XBOX + Bluray player), 1 digital co-ax and 3 analog inputs.

However, although it outputs to 5.1, it is only analog out (though I can hear a difference). It does let you pick and choose, and ugrade your speakers etc. It's also 7.1 if you use Creative speakers.

If you are looking specifically for speakers on their own, I'm afraid I don't have much info.

Cheers for the feedback mate.
Yes it's just the speakers i need. Something with an optical in and 3.5mm jack. or any combination of the above. PS3 and PC both have optical and the ability to run through 3.5mm. Not bothered at all if it's a 5.1 speaker set. In fact i dont have the space with nearly 4tb of external drives on the desk too lol. So a decent 2.0/2.1 set is the best for me.
