Best Sub For A Desktop PC - Budget - £400

    Hi guys,

My friend needs a new PC now I'm relatively good at seeking out a deal but not 100% sure if these are the best for under £400. She doesn't need anything too powerful, most of use would be chatting online, browsing and playing online games (nothing too strenuous).

The dell can be upgraded to 4GB RAM and 1TB hard drive for £60.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Plus a keyboard/mouse/Monitor will cost approx £320 and its a cracking bit of kit tbh.
Just need to install windows on it which isnt too hard to do.

I have 13 of them right next to me to setup for work.

Note none of these come with a monitor

While you say you can upgrade the Dell I think with what she is doing she does not need 4Gb of memory or a 1Tb disk (however it is always worth buying the best you can afford to future proof it).

That makes all 3 computers roughly the same price (£379, £379, £360).

The "best" technology CPU wise is the Packard Bell. The Core i3 is the newest CPU from Intel and Pentiums are on the way out (although they will do fine for what she wants).

Thanks, looks like a lot for the money. Just needs an operating system, probably just add Windows 7 home premium from ebuyer for £75. Found any negatives with this unit?

None at all, it is a very very quick machine.

I installed Windows XP via USB in about 10 mins tops and its cracking.

    Highly recommend them tbh
