Best Treadmill for under £1000??

Hi all,

Looking at buying a treadmill for my Dad's birthday as his current Nordic Track shuts itself off after 10 minutes use now.

Just wondering what the best make to go for? Or any specific models in particular?
I know the Life Fitness ones are supposed to be super good but they're just too pricey
Need a NON-FOLDING one, so just a solid state one that is permanently out in my Dad's gym.

Also, any suggestions on the best place to buy? Seen loads of fitness equipment websites but not sure whos the most reputable or if i should just buy from a shop?

Any help much appreciated

I was after a treadmill with wireless heart monitoring and non-folding though. I think I might be wanting too much from £1000!

The folding is not a problem as when it is unfolded you would be unaware that it could be as it is fixed firm with a locking pin and there is no sightly folding parts.

I think you will need to go and look at some in the shops to get idea's.

Yeh, i think because my Dad's existing one is a commercial one (RRP roughly £3000, but he got it cheap when a local gym was closing down) I dont really want to downgrade >.Maybe i should just avoid buying a treadmill
