The cheaper the better of course. Doesn’t need to be big (32” - 43”). Planning to mainly use for gaming and watching some TV.
Thanks!

Is there a point in purchasing a 4K TV? Would you notice much difference?
Should probably also add that I’d like the smart features to be decent, as I know on some TV’s they can be really slow and unbearable! Thanks

You're not left with a choice unfortunately, pretty much all the sets even at this size are 4K now.

Have a look at this thread avforums.com/thr…70/
He does that thread every year and the sets listed at the various size, price points etc are usually spot on.

Surprised you have such a dim view on them.
What do you use instead of the firestick

Some random Chinese-sourced Android boxes with real sockets to plug stuff into, like full size USB sockets and gigabit ethernet ports. The spare bedroom box also has a SATA port but I rarely use it cos I'm rarely booted into the spare bedroom and that box only has 32GB internal storage.
