My friend is looking for a good value sub £400 laptop. It's mainly going to be used for watching movies, surfing the internet but not playing games so no graphics card. I've had a look on most website's but nothing has really caught my eye. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Pretty much any laptop will do, surfing web and watching movies dont require much computing power.

Some companies do "entertainment" laptops with better screens and speakers, maybe consider one of them (maybe even a 17" screen).

Toshiba do a range of entertainment laptops
