Best Value trip to Legoland

    Hi all,

As there are many vouchers and discounts for Legoland at the moment. I was hoping that some kind folk would advise me of the most cost efficient way of going to Legoland for the day.

We are looking to go on the 12th August, and there will be two adult, a 4 year old, and a 2 year old.

We will travel down on the train from London, and then get the bus shuttle. Therefore we won't require parking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends if you have Tesco Clubcard points to use.
If not, there was (may still be) a 2 for 1 on the back of some Kelloggs boxes. We used two of those recently at the gate, so four of us for £90ish.
If you can get one of those vouchers, you could get two Adults for the price of one, and buy the Lego Movie DVD for £10 (from Tesco?) to get a free child ticket - for your 4yo. (Your 2yo is free) Total £47 + £10 for the DVD + ~£3 for the Corn Flakes.
    How's that?

Even better - if you are travelling by train you can get 2 for 1 on the gate even without the Kelloggs voucher -…ort

Wow, thanks for your help Ar460rn, much appreciated, and would work out at quite a saving.

Do you know if you can defo use both promotions at the same time? ie the 2 for 1 on adults, and also the free child ticket.

My mistake - just read the terms on the 'free' child ticket and it's only with a paying adult

In that case next best would be
    1 Adult - book in Advance from - £33
1 Adult + 1 child for price of 1 Adult on the gate - £41

Sorry - a bit more than I originally thought.

    Thanks Ar460rn, much appreciated.

    Looking forward to going now.

Btw, I would recommend getting there as early as possible (maybe obvious, but you can buy tickets and get in the shop from 9:30) and heading for either Sky Rider or Boating School - both are nice tame family rides which quickly get very long queues.
Don't forget swim costumes & towels for Duplo Valley.
Fairy tale brook and the train ride will probably go down well with the young ones as well.

    Thanks Ar460rn, advice noted.

We are going for the 4 years olds birthday, I think he will have a great time.
