Socks with the characters from the Disney movie Frozen on them have been recalled over fears they contain chemicals that cause cancer.

The socks have pictures of Princess Anna of Arendelle on them, which may contain a restricted chemical, Trading Standards have warned.

The blue socks, which come in a pack of three featuring Queen Elsa and Olaf the snowman, have been sold by fashion chain Lindex.

The chemical was found during delivery of one of the products, prompting the recall.

‘The recall only affects the socks with article number 833 7410285 5170 1611.’

If you’ve bought these particular socks, you’re urged to return them to the nearest Lindex store to you for a full refund.

Concerned customers can call 02030050009 or email customerservice-se@lindex.com.

They look creepy anyway
We seem to be seeing a lot of recalls recently because of this and that toxic substance.

I wonder how much of this is connected with the Tory onslaught of deregulation.
