Beware of a Screwfix scam on Click & Collect orders

I have just found out the hard way that if I fail to collect a 'click and collect' order, Screwfix will quietly take the item back into stock but not issue any credit unless I specifically ask for it. They will not issue a reminder that I have not collected the goods. Just quietly keep my money.

Very nasty. Very untrustworthy. Makes me think of the word 'fraud', especially when they fail to remind me I have uncollected goods.

This situation predates COVID19 so its nothing to do with current circumstances
