I take home 200 a week after tax and save around 400 per month, the rest goes on travel, bills, food, socialising.

    'bout tree fiddy

I can't think of anything that I buy that I don't need. All excess money at the end of the month is added to our savings or ISAs.

Yeah living at home until i can save enough for a deposit on a house, not wasting money on rent if i can help it.

always try, usual have to spend it, no savings at the moment! if I could pay off just one of my debts or bills I would be in a better position. I'm just happy to have a job right now!

    must try it!

I spend a lot on games, to much IMO(don't even want to work it out). But I've started biking everywhere I go now, no car expenses, no public transport. I save that way and still have enough to save a little at the end of the month on my pitiful wage.

How much savings would you consider is a lot to have?

I'm more intrigued as to why people still respond to these pointless, inane questions.
