Correct. End of thread.

Sloth/Mod

Simple...........Temperature in your house is higher than in your car so the heat escaping outside the windows in your house stops them freezing.

use your brain the space between the glazing will warm up

This is the type of stupid question i'd think of lol

Sloth/Mod

black gerbil1;7525312

even if you have double/triple glazing?

Yes, because the heat bounces of the inside of the windows thus giving the glass a higher temperature than freezing point.

always some heat loss, even through argon gas filled units and low e coating

no the whole point of glazing is to see out of and let natural light in its only in modern times that glazing has changed with things like triple glazing , K glass , and argon filled units to help with kepping the heat in for the winter and the heat out in the summer

What? Don't you have triple glazing on your "RRP 66K BMW"

not forgetting krypton gas and warm edge spacer:)

black gerbil1;7525386

No I'm not, if you wanted the highest heat retention you wouldn't have windows as a well insulated wall has a far higher U value than any type of glazing :whistling:

yes you can A graded units now that have a plastic spacer bar and now windows can come with plastic reinforcing instead of ally or steal to reduce cold spots
