My girlfriend recently bought a Blackberry, so I can join the wave of BBM'ing I'm looking for one.

I'm currently paying £15 per month for 600 minutes and unltd texts sim only, ideally I'd not want to pay much more than that per month. What sort of contracts are there available? Obviously shorter term and less cost of handset the better.

Had a look around but I'm not really sure whats a good deal, so I thought I'd come here!

Cheers!

well i just ordered mine from orange, will be paying 17.50 per month, 300 cross network mins, unlimited texts and internet and handset cost £50.00 and its for the BB Bold 9700. It's a 2 year contract though. speak to the advisers on the phone more helpful and will be a better deal

bold is newer than the curve and bold has gps. you can compare on the blackberry website:

uk.blackberry.com/dev…766

bold basically beats 8520 in everyway nearly, and has a massive addition in that 8520 doesnt have 3G, but the prices reflect that since the 9700 is around double or so the price

Yeh I'm gonna go with the 9700 I think. Just need to find a good contract. That one Kulsum got sounds too good to be true! Gonna give it a try though...

as an alternative you can get a very similar deal with e2save.com:

secure-mobiles.com/che…jt9

i used this deal to haggle with orange

not bad - e2save deal

Got Orange down to £25 a month, 500 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet. Free phone. Not as good as Kulsum's deal, but not too far off.

Gonna try and ring back tomorrow.

would you try the e2save deal?

I could, but I don't really understand the whole cash back thing, not sure if I trust it either...

What does it involve? I'm just a bit wary of it.

Why do people love bbm when they get unlimited txts?

e2save has been around for a quite a while. you pay the normal amount per month, then at the end of the third month (i think its the third month) you send of your statement/bill to them and they send you money back.

i didn't go this route as i can be a bit lazy with the whole sending back the statement/bill and my filing of stuff like this isn't great! lol

haha, yeah - I'm a bit lazy about it too. Plus I'd prefer not to deal with third parties, would prefer to get it straight from the network!
