So i've brought Halo Wars on Friday, for 20 quid, which is a bargain in itself from Game, And now the disk has become unreadable etc, big nice scratch on the thing, Which obviously has come from the 360, as the Xbox hasn't moved.

I brought a pre-owed console, about a year and half ago, and it died with the RROD, so that got replaced with no questions asked for a brand new 20 gb model.

That was in November last year, and well this xbox is breaking all my games and not really playing them, Do i have 12 month warrenty on the Xbox from Blockbuster or Microsoft themselves.

Ideally i'd want this changed at the shop, as it's much easier than sending it off, but can they mug me off with the 12 month out of warrenty from orignal purchase or what!

Cheers for any help in advance

All electrical items have to be supplied with a 2 year warranty by the RETAILER to confirm with the EU laws.

6 month policy at Blockbuster . But Microsoft should sort it for you

They may try to fob you off with that but are breaking the law if they try to enforce it, your contract is with the retailer NOT the manufacturer

Oh nuts only just seen you said pre-owned. scratch what I previously said.

Your 12 month manufacturers warranty should cover it.
