be aware that it is probably a sackable offence to bypass your companys internet security. They will probably spot it pretty quickly too.

Looks like they have already spotted your game. Expect a call from your manager soon....................:w00t:

You tried restarting internet explorer.

If you have, try restarting comp.

If you have, Try firefox.

We could access it until another member of staff said that the PC was running slow so our head office looked at all the PCs and now we can't do anything damm interfering people lol

if you cant use proxy,

google translate can act as proxy: google.com/lan…=en

enter your web address in the "Translate a web page" field

try this in google:

+"Include Form" +"Remove Scripts" +"Accept Cookies" +"Show Images" +"Show Referer" +"Rotate13" +"Base64" +"Strip Meta" +"Strip Title" +"Session Cookies" +"New Window"

Will find loads of proxys - go through to like page 10 and there should be lots not blocked

Have you ever thougth why companies block internet access.......

That was the point I was trying to get across. Two people in the company i used to work at got suspended without pay for 4 weeks for using proxy sites as they obviously weren't working

It's not just that

Look at it this way,

1. When you are at work you company is paying you to do a job for them, not surf the net for your own needs.

2. You are using a company resourse for non work related activities. This does not only include the actual PC but any network capacity / bandwidth. So imagine employees online either streaming video or gaming and hogging network capacity and slowing down the legitimate business of the comapny.

many companies turn a blind eye to casual surfing ans long as it does not take over, but there are always a few who will spoil it for all, so companies must make a stance.

When you start talking about the likes of eBay facebook youtube etc these can occupy serious amounts of people time and hence causing a loss to the businress therefore I would actually agree that they should be banned.

Circumventing a companies internet use policy would then be a serious offence and should be dealt with accordingly
